July 27, 2022 – The Michigan Youth Education Fund launched its new, upgraded website on the 27th of July. The new website (www.miyef.org), allows the Michigan Youth Education Fund to expand its programs by leveraging new technologies to improve user experience. The main updates include refreshed student and educator resources, a new donor portal, the introduction of the Success Center, and an updated Extracurricular Event Directory.
Resources
The Student and Educator Resources Pages will be continuously updated to provide the most up-to-date information for Michigan students and educators.
Student Support
The Student Support webpage hosts valuable information for Michigan Students and connects them to resources from the Michigan Youth Education Fund (Student Grant Program, Extracurricular Event Directory, and the Student Participation Cost Calculator).
Educator Resources
The Educator Resources webpage was created to provide Michigan educators with the resources they need to succeed. Educators can find helpful articles pertaining to them through our Success Center, helpful documents and templates, Group Grant program information, and more!
Donor Portal
The new donation portal gives donors the control, convenience, and security they need to donate with confidence! Donors can create an account on our homepage or when making a donation. Donors can log in with their email and password or choose the accessible login with Facebook, Google, and Twitter.
Once a donor creates an account and logs in, they are able to visit their user dashboard and see all of their information regarding their contributions, the causes they are following, and their receipts. This allows donors easier access to the causes they like to support and their end of year statements for tax planning.
Success Center
The Success Center is the Michigan Youth Education Fund’s central hub for information. You will find resources for students and educators (including fundraising ideas & advice, grant application tips & tricks, and more), news about the Michigan Youth Education Fund, and program updates. Articles are easily shared by link of by our convenient sharing tools to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Email.
Extracurricular Event Directory
The updated extracurricular event directory allows for a better user experience and more advanced tools such as user ratings, advanced search tools, categories, and more! The overhauled directory will serve as a better tool for Michigan students, educators, and supporters, and will serve as a foundation for upcoming programs.
